ALPINE, Texas -- The LeTourneau women's soccer team lost 3-1 at Sul Ross on Saturday morning to wrap up the season.

LeTourneau (6-7-5,) took an early 1-0 lead over the Lobos.

In the 20th minute Chanel Kemabll-Cook scored her 11th goal of the season from a Brooke Vaugn assist. The mark will put Kemball-Cook in a tie for ninth for single-season goals scored.

Sul Ross (3-12-1) leveled the match in the 27th minute off the foot of Yissel Olivares, Sarayi Serrano had the assist.

The YellowJackets outshot the hosts 9-8 in the first period. The Lobos did have more shots on frame holding a 4-2 advantage. 

Sul Ross came out of the intermission and put a couple in the back of the net to take a 3-1 lead over the YellowJackets. 

The LeTourneau defense held up the rest of the way. The YellowJackets kept up the offensive pressure in taking seven more shots, but they were unable to make up the deficit.

Kelauna Cruz was in net for the YellowJackets and tallied 10 saves. Across the way was Geraldine Rubio, who marked four saves.
