DALLAS -- For a third time this season, LeTourneau men's cross country senior
Walker Reeves was named the ASC Runner of the Week, announced the conference on Tuesday.
Reeves earns the award for the sixth time in his career.Â
A senior from Cushing, Texas, Reeves had another standout performance for LeTourneau at the Watson XC Classic last Friday. He delivered his best 8k time of the season and the second-best of his career as he led LeTourneau to ninth overall. The senior finished in a time of 25:25.5 to place 12th overall, out of 221 runners. The mark was just five seconds behind his personal-record pace set at the same meet last season and is the fifth-fastest 8k time for LeTourneau since 2010.
Reeves has finished inside the top-15 twice this season and has paced the YellowJackets in all four meets.
LeTourneau has the weekend off before competing at the ASC Championships on Nov. 2 in Marshall, Texas.
