LONGVIEW, Texas -- The LeTourneau men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete in the ASC Championships on Saturday in Marshall, Texas. The races will take place at the Oak Lawn Municipal Golf Course.

MEN'S PREVIEW:
The LeTourneau men have three top-10 finishes and a runner-up placement this season in four meets.Â
Walker Reeves has led the way throughout the season as he's earned three ASC Runner of the Week awards. Reeves' 8k time of 25:25.5 at the Watson XC Classic on Oct. 18 is the best 8k time in the ASC this season and was the fifth-fastest for a YellowJacket since 2010.Â
Last season, Reeves placed third overall to earn first team All-ASC honors.
Elijah Oudyn and
Grayson Gaddis have had strong seasons as well. Oudyn was fifth at the season-opening Nicole Leman Invitational and is coming off a personal record 8k time in LeTourneau's last meet. Gaddis has had a similar season with a top-10 finish to open the year and a personal record two weeks ago in the 8k.
David Dugan returned for the first time at the Watson XC Classic. The junior is a two-time All-ASC honoree and was the Freshman of the Year in the conference in 2022.
LeTourneau finished fourth at the ASC Championships a season ago. The YellowJackets have one team conference championship in program history, coming in 2021. Lorien Nightingale was the last YellowJacket to win the individual title as he went back-to-back in spring 2021 and fall 2021.
WOMEN'S PREVIEW:
The LeTourneau women enter the Championships with two top-10 finishes this year in four meets.
Hope Greenwald earned All-ASC honors last season with her 13th-place finish. Greenwald placed second overall at the season-opening Nicole Leman Invitational.
Felice Mullinax led the YellowJackets at the Watson XC Classic on Oct. 18 with a 44th-place finish and a top season 6k time of 24:41.2. All six runners at the meet for LeTourneau had their best season 6k marks, including personal records from
Alayna Galloway and
Madelyn DeLosSantos.
LeTourneau is seeking its first ASC team title. Nicole Leman (2012) and Alexis Segura (2018) are the two YellowJackets to win individual titles.
