LONGVIEW, Texas -- A challenging slate awaits the LeTourneau baseball team in 2025 as the program recently finalized its schedule.
Under third-year head coach
Paul Phillips, the YellowJackets will play 40 regular season games with 18 of those set for Conrad-Vernon Field. LeTourneau will play a pair of NCAA Tournament teams from last season, including national runner-up Wisconsin-Whitewater, along with a contest at Division I foe Northwestern State.
The season opens on Feb. 21-22 with a three-game series at Millsaps in Jackson, Miss. It will be the fourth straight season that LeTourneau has opened with the Majors.
The home opener is slated for Feb. 25 as Vermont State Castleton comes to Longview for a second straight year. The YellowJackets won 10-3 last season and are 13-0 all-time against Castleton.
That midweek game starts a four-game homestand as Mississippi University for Women comes to Conrad-Vernon Field for three games on Feb. 28-March 1.Â
LeTourneau gets a taste of Division I competition on March 4 with a regular season game at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La. It will be the first meeting between the programs and the first time LeTourneau has played a Division I opponent since 2006.
A trip to Belhaven for three games follows on March 7-8 before LeTourneau returns home to face Occidental on March 11.
LeTourneau heads to Pensacola, Fla., for Spring Break on March 14-17. The YellowJackets are scheduled to face Sewanee (March 14), Concordia Wisconsin (March 15), Wisconsin-Whitewater (March 16), and Wisconsin-Stout (March 17). All four games are set for Blue Wahoos Stadium, home of the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos an affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
The final true non-conference series of the season is March 20-22 with three games vs. Southwestern at home. LeTourneau faces Dallas in non-conference midweek action on April 8.
ASC play opens at Mary Hardin-Baylor on March 27-29. All ASC series feature four games over three days in 2025. LeTourneau hosts Howard Payne (April 3-5) and UT Dallas (April 24-26). The YellowJackets also travel to Hardin-Simmons (April 10-12) and East Texas Baptist (April 16-18).
The ASC consists of LeTourneau, East Texas Baptist, Howard Payne, Hardin-Simmons, Mary Hardin-Baylor, and UT Dallas in 2025. Games against UT Dallas will not count toward league standings as the Comets transition to Division II.
The ASC Tournament, which will include all five teams, is set for May 1-4 at the No. 1 seed.

- LeTourneau will face Mississippi University for Women, Northwestern State, Sewanee, Concordia Wisconsin, Wisconsin-Whitewater, and Wisconsin-Stout for the first time in program history.Â
