PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- LeTourneau women's cross country earned fourth place at the 6,000-meter SCAC Championships on Saturday morning in the 10-team field at Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Farm and Ranch in Prairie View.
Alayna Galloway once again led LeTourneau's runners with a top-30 time of 25:18.07, her second-fastest 6k time of the season. That time was also the fastest in a conference championship meet since 2023.
Senior
Hope Greenwald ran the second-best race for the YellowJackets, shattering her previous 6k season best with a 25:50.45.
Felice Mullinax rounded out the top three for LeTourneau with her season-best 26:06.20.
Madelyn DeLosSantos ran a 26:22.40, her second-best time in the 6k this season, while freshman
Katelyn Chavez set a new personal best with her 26:54.49.
Peyton Chaney (27:09.28) and
Rivkah Schmickle (27:39.18) completed the field for the YellowJackets, both of whose times were their second-best 6k marks this season.
No. 20 Colorado College won the team title, and the Tigers' Alison Mueller-Hickler won the individual title.
