SUWANEE, Ga. -- For a second time this season, LeTourneau women's soccer senior forward
Chanel Kemball-Cook was named the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week, announced the conference on Monday.
Kemball-Cook also earned the award on Sept. 14 and has four conference weekly awards in her career.
A senior from Prosper, Texas, Kemball-Cook collected two goals in a 4-0 win over Dallas on Sunday -- the YellowJackets' only match of the week. She scored the eventual game-winner in the 25th minute before tacking on another in the 29th minute. It was her third multi-goal match of the season and extended her SCAC-leading goal total to 14 on the year.
The two goals also gave Kemball-Cook 40 for her career as she became just the third player in program history to reach 40 career goals. Her 14 goals this season are a career-high and the most since Kirby Posey had 14 in 2009.
LeTourneau (9-2-1, 3-1-1 SCAC) has won two straight and takes a four-match unbeaten streak into Friday's contest with St. Thomas (7:30 p.m., Joyce Family Athletic Village).
