ROUND ROCK, Texas -- Prior to LeTourneau women's soccer's 3-1 SCAC Tournament quarterfinal victory over Ozarks on Thursday, Nov. 5, senior forwards Chanel Kemball-Cook was named the recipient of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Elite 19 Award for the sport.

Kemball-Cook becomes the fifth LeTourneau student-athlete to receive the honor, and first of the 2026-27 athletic year.

The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded annually to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours at his or her current institution and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season.

Kemball-Cook, a senior forward from Prosper, Texas, currently holds a cumulative GPA of 3.85 majoring in aviation management and earned first team All-SCAC honors this season.

A three-time all-conference selection in her career, Kemball-Cook's name is etched across every statistical category in the programs record book. Her 2026 campaign was certainly one to remember as she collected a league-leading 17 goals (second most in program history), 38 points (second), six assists (tied for third), 77 shots (third), and set program records with six game-winners and 1.06 goals per game.

Kemball-Cook's electric season capped an illustrious career, where she also holds her place in history. Her 43 career goals are just one shy of the program record, along with her 98 points (third), 0.60 goals per game (fourth), nine game-winning goals (tied for second), 14 assists (tied for second), and 224 shots (second). 

The senior is a three-time SCAC Offensive Player of the Week honoree, earning the award twice this year.

During her career, Kemball-Cook is a three-time academic all-conference selection, and has twice been named a CSC Academic All-District honoree.

LeTourneau ended its season on Friday with a loss in the SCAC Tournament to finish 11-4-2 overall and set a program record for winning percentage at .706.
