MARSHALL, Texas --
Hope Greenwald set a personal record in the 6k and finished third overall to lead the LeTourneau women's cross country team at the ETBU Invite on Saturday in Marshall.
The YellowJackets placed in a tie for second with 56 points, but got third due to the tiebreaker with Wiley.
Greenwald placed third overall in the meet with a personal record time in the 6k of 24:48.4 to lead the YellowJackets. It was Greenwald's second top-five finish this season and she has placed in the top 15 in all three meets.
Alayna Galloway also had a personal record time in the distance as she came in 12th at 29:17.2.
Madelyn DeLosSantos was 14th at 29:29.8 and
Haily Bass was 16th at 31:31.5.
Abigail Everett rounded out the five LeTourneau runners as she placed 21st.
ETBU took the team title as the Tigers tallied 18 points. Danna Requena of ETBU won the individual title at 23:56.5.
UP NEXT
LeTourneau will have a short turnaround as the YellowJackets head to the Watson Cross Country Classic on Oct. 13, hosted by Mississippi College.
