Women's Soccer Falls 3-0 to University of Dallas

LONGVIEW, Texas – LeTourneau University's women's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision Tuesday night against the University of Dallas at LETU Soccer Field. Nicole Kemper played 61:40 in net for the YellowJackets, making seven saves and allowing just two goals.

Claire Sexton got Dallas on the board in the 10th minute when she took a pass from Marin Chambers and scored to give the Crusaders a 1-0 advantage.

The score would remain the same going into halftime, but Dallas got on the board again in the 48th minute as Chambers found Sexton with a cross, who touched it into the net for a 2-0 Crusader lead.

Rebecca Brunter scored in the 67th minute on an assist from Nicole Johnson to provide the final 3-0 margin.

Dallas held the advantage in shots for the game with 22 (14 on goal), while LeTourneau finished with four shots (three on goal).

Maggie Judd, Liz Bowman, and Kaitlyn Conway each had shots on goal for the YellowJackets. Jamie Aguillen played 28:20 in goal for LETU, allowing just one goal while making four saves.

LeTourneau makes its first road trip of the season this weekend, as the YellowJackets are set to take on Austin College Friday and Hendrix College Saturday. LETU returns home Sept. 11 with a game against Centenary (La.).
