LeTourneau found itself behind as much as 14 but rallied for the come-from-behind win. "What a phenomenal testament to our girls desire to work," said YellowJackets head coach Corey Thomaston. "I'm so proud of their refusal to give in when our backs were against the wall."
The Comets (18-5, 15-5 ASC) were led by the 17-point effort from Jo'Anna Davis. She was joined in double digits by three others including Morgan Kilgore (15), Ciara Guilhas (11) and Christina Brosnahahn (10).

The resilient YellowJackets on the strength of its senior class came from behind. "Our seniors really stepped up down the stretch but this was a total team effort today," said Thomaston.
Fajardo put LeTourneau ahead 60-59 with 28 seconds to go on a layup; however, the Comets regained the lead with a pair of free throws with 13 seconds left. After a timeout, LeTourneau went back to Fajardo for the game-winning layup and senior
