The LeTourneau University men's tennis team lost to Hardin-Simmons University, 5-1 on Friday in the quarterfinals of the 2014 ASC Tennis Championships.
The YellowJackets (13-7) found themselves behind early with the Cowboys taking all three doubles matches.
When the match shifted over to singles, LeTourneau won the first set at No. 2, 3 and 4 singles.
At No. 4 singles, senior
Josh Bailey (pictured; photo by Jeff Williford) wrapped up his collegiate career with a win due to an injury default. The Cowboys ended the match win wins at No. 1 and No. 6 singles. At the time of match termination, LeTourneau junior
Sindre Johnsgaard was winning at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 4-1.
Bailey ends his career at LeTourneau with 37 singles wins which is fifth all-time and his 50 doubles wins ranks fourth.
Hardin-Simmons University advances to face No. 1 seed Texas-Tyler at 4:30 p.m.
