Box Score A goal in each half was just enough to propel host Texas Lutheran to a 2-0 win over the LeTourneau University women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon in Seguin.

The YellowJackets (1-2) controlled the offensive side of the ledger with a 20-10 advantage in shots in the loss. LETU junior Stephanie Vana had eight shots including four on goal in the loss. The LaVerne, California native had an equalizer attempt hit the cross bar in the 62^nd minute.
 
The Bulldogs (2-0) found the back of the net in the 37^th minute when Marisol Ramos kicked in a corner kick from five yards out for a 1-0 lead. TLU added to its lead in the 78^th minute when Sioned Kirkpatrick converted a corner kick for her second goal of the season.

Next, LeTourneau will face Centenary on Tuesday in Shreveport with an 6 p.m. tilt.
