The LeTourneau University men's tennis team dropped a pair of 6-3 decisions to Mary Hardin-Baylor and Concordia, respectively.
In the loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday, the YellowJackets' began the day with a win at No. 3 doubles by the tandem of
Curtis Martin and
Robby Bundy, who defeated Bright Ihezue/Jake Boles, 8-2.
Morgan Weaver for LETU picked up a win at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-4 and teammate
Kevin Warren was victorious at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-4.
To secure the win, UMHB won at No. 1 and 2 doubles as well as No. 1, 2, 4 and 5 singles.
In Saturday's 6-3 loss to Concordia, the host Tornados took all three doubles matches and secured the win with victories at No. 1, 4 and 5 singles.
At No. 2 singles,
Tyler Grove was a 6-4, 6-2 winner and Weaver picked up his second win of the weekend with a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
Next, the YellowJackets will host Texas Lutheran and Cal Tech on Friday, Mar. 25 at 8:30 a.m. and noon, respectively.
