The UT Tyler women's tennis team defeated LeTourneau University, 9-0 on Friday in Tyler.
The YellowJackets (3-5, 0-2 ASC) were solid throughout the lineup, despite not winning a match.
The Patriots (8-1, 3-0 ASC) did not surrender a set in the win.
The entire lineup battled hard for the YellowJackets in the loss including freshman
Lauren Rockwell, who saw her three-match winning streak end at No. 3 singles. The freshman from Tatum dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Alexandra McKissick. The LETU No. 1 doubles tandem of
Rachel Morisseau and
Terin Murray lost 8-1 to Mary Alice Blacketer and Tori Musngi.
The YellowJackets will next face Belhaven on Wednesday, Mar. 9 at noon in Jackson, Mississippi en route to its annual Spring Break trip to the Gulf Shores in Alabama.
