The LeTourneau University women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 9-0 loss to regionally-ranked East Texas Baptist.
The Tigers (12-4, 3-1 ASC East) are currently ranked No. 10 in the latest ITA West Region rankings. In the ETBU lineup are #10 Kayla Casey and the #19 doubles tandem of Kate Bramlett and Casey. Both were victorious on Saturday against the YellowJackets.
The LeTourneau doubles tandem of
Schuyler Wages and
Savannah Wessies were 8-1 losers at No. 3 doubles for the only point scored by LETU in doubles action.
In singles play, freshman
Terin Murray lost 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 2 flight and freshman
Lauren Rockwell lost 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 3 flight for the three points that LETU posted.
Next, for the third-straight LeTourneau will continue its season at the ASC Tournament, where they will place No. 1 West seed Hardin-Simmons in a match on Thursday, April 21 at the Summers Tennis Center on the campus of UT Tyler in Tyler, Texas.
