The LeTourneau men's and women's tennis teams fell 9-0 to Southwestern University (Texas) on Saturday evening.
 
The Southwestern women were ranked No. 26 in the nation and No. 5 in the West region. LeTourneau fought hard but weren't able to steal a point as the Pirates swept the doubles and singles matches. The YellowJackets fall to 1-11 on the season but hold a 1-0 conference record after a win against Ozarks on Friday.
 
The SU men came in ranked No. 34 in the nation and No. 8 in the West region. The Pirates were too much for LeTourneau sweeping doubles 3-0 and taking all six singles matches. The YellowJackets fall to 5-8 on the season and 1-0 in the ASC.
 
LeTourneau will be back in action Friday, April 7^th for a home conference matchup with East Texas Baptist. The matches will also be Senior Day as the YellowJackets recognize five seniors for their dedication and contribution to LETU Tennis. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m. with a short ceremony before doubles matches begin.
