Three tight matches would be seen in doubles play as
Paulo Cressio and
Nathan Schmidt would fall by a score of 8-4 at number two doubles before

Christian Farris tied the match at 1-1 with an 8-6 win at number one doubles to leave the number three doubles match to determine an early lead. In the final doubles match of the day,
Bobby Clark and
Jeffrey Golladay would be unable to overcome the duo of Preston Spivey and Safe Rahman in an 8-5 defeat which gave AC a 2-1 lead heading into singles action.

The 'Roos would then tie the match once again by earning a 6-2, 6-4 victory at number three singles over Cressio but see Clark allow LeTourneau to reclaim the lead with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win at number one singles by Henson.
