LONGVIEW -- LeTourneau University men's basketball team will close the regular season on a four-game homestand, beginning with Thursday's 7:30 p.m. matchup against Concordia Texas.
The YellowJackets (16-5, 9-3 American Southwest Conference) will host Mary Hardin-Baylor 3 p.m. Saturday. Next Thursday, they entertain Lousiana College, and host Belhaven Feb. 22 on Senior Day in the final regular season game. The ASC Championship Tournament is set for Feb. 27-29.
LETU is 5-1 at home this season. The Jackets are ranked No. 6 in the first NCAA Division III South Region rankings, which help determine national tournament berths.

Sr. G Nate West is the school's winningest player, having been a part of the last three teams that set the benchmark for Division III programs in Texas with the 63 victories … He was named to the preseason ASC East Watch List … West was named a preseason Third Team All-American by D3hoops.com this year.

Nate West was named the United States Basketball Writers Association National Player of the Week (Jan. 28) … He was named to Small College Basketball's Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List, which includes the top 100 players in NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA, United States Collegiate Athletic Association and National Christian College Athletic Association … The list will be trimmed to 50 players on Feb. 15 … A winner will be announced in early April.
