LONGVIEW, Texas – LETU men's basketball hits the road for the first time this season, competing in the Pioneer Pre-Thanksgiving Classic, hosted by Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Friday and Saturday.
Both Yellowjacket opponents are members of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference foes, beginning with Bethany Lutheran at 5 p.m. Friday. They clash with Crown College Saturday at 2 p.m. Video streaming and live stats are available for at the following links.

LETU posted a 79-67 victory over Texas Lutheran in the season opener, before winning the 2021 LETU Classic with a 99-88 triumph over Schreiner.
James Wallace begins his head coaching career with back-to-back victories. He's the 21
st head coach in the program's 75-year history.
Andrew Eberhardt leads four Yellowjackets in double-double scoring, averaging 20 points per game.
Deonte Jackson joins Eberhardt with 10 points or more in both games, averaging 18.5 per contests.
Warren Richardson's team-leading 8.5 rebounds ranks fourth in the American Southwest Conference.
Pat Garvin is in his second season with Bethany Lutheran, posting an 8-5 mark, including 2-1 this season. Last time out, the Vikings dropped a 72-64 decision against St. Olaf Nov. 13. Brian Smith paces the Vikings' offense with 21.7 ppg and 17 assists. Hunter Nielsen adds 10.3 ppg, while Jacob Milinkovich's pulls down a team-high 8.0 boards per contest.
Crown enters the weekend with a 3-2 record, dropping three in succession before posting a 68-65 win at Macalester College Nov. 17. Cade Carroll (19.0), Micah Ladd (14.0) and Cade Neubert (13.3) fuels a balanced attack for the Storm. Carroll nearly averages a double-double clearing the boards at a 9.2 clip, snagging 46 of the team's 183 on the campaign.
