Box Score PINEVILLE, La. – The LeTourneau University women's tennis team swept Louisiana College, 9-0, for their second straight victory.

The YellowJackets improved to 2-0 in American Southwest Conference play and 3-7 overall.

With a decreased roster for the Wildcats, the match included only two doubles and four single matches.

At No. 1 doubles, Bailey Deatherage and Summer Apostalo defeated Emma Hixson and Kylie Harless, 8-0. Sierra Linssen and Brandy Weems beat Trinity Foster and Madi McDowell, 8-1, to conclude doubles play.

The YellowJackets took a 3-0 advantage moving into singles play.

Deatherage defeated Hixson, 6-3, 6-0, in the No. 1 spot. At No. 2 singles, Linssen beat Harless, 6-1, 6-0. Apostalo rolled past McDowell, 6-1, 6-0, in the No. 3 slot. To conclude singles play and secure the match win, Weems defeated Foster, 6-0, 6-0.

LeTourneau will host Southwestern University 9 a.m. Saturday at Davis Tennis Courts.
