LONGVIEW, Texas – LeTourneau women's soccer hits the road for a pair of American Southwest Conference games Friday and Sunday. Due to pending inclement weather in the Abilene, Texas area, the contests against Hardin-Simmons and McMurry were delayed 24 hours.

About Hardin-Simmons
The Cowgirls enter with a three-match winning streak overall and have not lost at home in 21 matches. Hardin-Simmons garnered the top spot in the American Southwest Conference preseason poll, collecting 238 points and 19-of-22 first-place votes. Goalkeeper Kendall Dowling was named preseason Player of the Year and she hasn't allowed a goal in three appearances this season. Emma Thompson leads the offense with four goals and two helpers in six fixtures.
 
About McMurry
The War Hawks enter the weekend with a five-match unbeaten streak, earning a 2-2 draw last time out against Belhaven. Emily Holland and Hallie Rutherford pace McMurry with four goals, while Holland and three other players are even with two assists. In goal, Cortlynn Boone and Priscella Caruso have started three contests each and made six appearances. Boone has a 2-2-1 record with a 1.59 goal against average and .700 save percentage. Caruso is 1-0-0, with 0.35 goals allowed per contest, saving 92 percent of the shots on goal.
