SHREVEPORT, La. --
Kyndall Hardeman and
Haylee Jordan had 14 points apiece as the LeTourneau women's basketball team concluded its exhibition season with a 62-50 loss at NAIA foe LSU-Shreveport on Tuesday night.
LeTourneau (3-5) returns to regular season action on Thursday night with its home opener against Mary Hardin-Baylor. It was the second exhibition game of the year as the YellowJackets opened the season at NCAA Division I foe Northwestern State on Nov. 7.
The YellowJackets hung with the LSU-Shreveport team that is receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25. Hardeman had 14 points with four rebounds while Jordan added 14 points with nine rebounds.
Ty Moon contributed eight points and
AJ Thomas totaled eight rebounds, two steals, and four points.
LeTourneau led 35-30 late in the third quarter after a
Johnai Wimbleduff basket. The host Pilots used a surge late in the period to gain a 39-35 lead entering the fourth and led the rest of the way.
LSU-Shreveport (7-3) received a game-high 20 points from Destinee Roblow.

LeTourneau opens the home schedule on Thursday against No. 10-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor (5:30 p.m.).
