About McMurry
The War Hawks of McMurry come into the contest after falling in its season opener to Midwestern State University Texas. McMurry fosters in an upperclassmen heavy squad, led by Chase Daniell, a senior out of Wills Point, Texas, who competes at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. Daniell earned a bid to the NCAA DIII Men's Tennis Championship with No. 1 doubles partner Carlos Martinez a season ago. Reid Smith also chips into the War Hawk attack, playing at No. 1 doubles with Daniell and No. 2 singles. Smith was selected to the all-division second team in Flight 3 singles a year ago. Juniors Connor Hogan and Dylan Bryant round out the upperclassmen in the top four players, playing at No. 2 doubles together and No. 3 and 4 singles, respectively. Freshmen Jonathan Arzuaga-Portugues and Trent Lewis cap off the starting lineup for the War Hawks.
