Megan LeBlanc defeated Gigi Francis and Kylie Imperial, 8-2.
Bailey Deatherage and
Brandy Weems cruised at No. 2 doubles, downing Bailey Standokes and Sierra Thomas, 8-1.
LETU took a 2-1 lead moving into singles play.
After a forfeit win for the 'Roos at No. 6 singles, the match was tied 2-2 to begin singles action. Deatherage fought hard at No. 1 singles, ultimately falling to Francis, 7-5, 6-3. The YellowJackets rattled off the next four flights. Morris defeated Imperial, 6-2, 6-0, at the No. 2 slot. LeBlanc beat Standokes, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 3. Weems fell to Thomas in the first set, 6-1, but bounced back in the second and third set, 6-3, 10-7, to claim the victory. At No. 5 singles,
Emma Boulanger beat Tara Tran, 6-2, 6-1.
The Jackets travel to Hardin-Simmons Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.
