Tyler Roberts fanned one, walked one and was touched up for two runs on two hits in the eighth.

Needing just three outs to earn their first win of the season, the YellowJackets called on Maysonave. With two runs already in, bases loaded and no outs, the native of Austin, Texas, retired the next three hitters to preserve the victory. He stranded the tying run at third, with a strikeout.
In the first, LETU's first three batters reached, with Stanley and Jones scoring on back-to-back sacrifice flies from Vaughn and Cortes. The YellowJackets sent 10 men to the plate, with four crossing on four hits. The big knock came on a Baltimore Chop off the bat of Vaughn that bounded over the third baseman's head and down the leftfield line, putting two in scoring position and one run in.
Aided by two YellowJackets hit-by-pitch and a third working a walk, they cashed in another run without a knock in the fourth. Cortes tallied the game winner in the sixth.
The two teams conclude the three-game series Sunday at 1 p.m.
