After weather canceled its pair of matches Wednesday against Newberry and Ithaca, the YellowJackets picked up a contest against Wooster to get one last match.
LeTourneau found itself down early moving into singles action, trailing 3-0.
Brandy Weems and
Emma Boulanger fell short in a tough match to Katie Materick and Cherry Patlolla at No. 2 doubles, 8-7 (7-1).
Madison Morris and
Bailey Deatherage lost at No. 1 to Otilia Oita and Janaki Jagannathan, 8-3. In the third slot,
Clara Brisman and
Sophie Hill dropped its match to Kim Nguyen and Abby Aitken, 8-2.
Deatherage lost to Oita at the top flight singles, 6-4, 6-4. In the second position, Patlolla defeated Morris, 6-4, 7-5. Weem fell to Jagannathan at line three, 6-0, 6-1. Nguyen took down Boulanger in the fourth spot, 6-0, 6-2. Brisman lost at No. 5 to Materick, 6-0, 6-1. Abby Benson beat Hill at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-2.
The Jackets return to the court Mar. 22 at 3 p.m. as it travels to Hardin-Simmons to compete in an ASC divisional crossover matchup.
