THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH SUZANNE MERRITT:
"We competed well on a tough three-match weekend, finishing with good wins today. I was pleased with our doubles in all three matches and excited to have
Julian Lee back for doubles play as he returns from injury. We hope to have him back to singles in the next two weeks. Lee and
Patrick Baney won 2 of 3 great doubles matches on the weekend at No. 1.
Freshman
Ryan Holloway had an outstanding weekend, winning all six of his matches. He and partner,
Nathan Schmidt won against three strong doubles teams. Holloway took three solid wins in singles.
It was great to get to play a high level of competition at this point in the season and see where we are and what we need to continue to work on. The team has played better with each match and showed great determination so we will start preparing for next weekend and our spring break matches next week."
