THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH SUZANNE MERRITT:
"The women took on 3 tough teams this weekend and I was happy to have a chance to see them against strong competition as we prepare for the rest of the season.
Freshmen
Madison Morris and
Megan LeBlanc continue to improve as a doubles team and had a good win against a tough Concordia team. LeBlanc followed that up with a strong singles win. Freshman
Emma Boulanger also had a good singles win in the Concordia match a day ago. This trip gave us a nice look at these talented freshmen, and I am seeing them continue to improve each week.
Returners
Bailey Deatherage and
Brandy Weems looked good in doubles and took a win against Schriener, where Morris also had a great win in singles.
These women have a strong work ethic and I believe we will see them put together some good team wins in the weeks to come."
