LONGVIEW, Texas -- The LeTourneau women's tennis team is set to make its debut at the SCAC Tournament on Friday as the No. 6 seeded YellowJackets face No. 3 seed St. Thomas in a quarterfinal at 9 a.m. at the HEB Municipal Tennis Center in Kerrville, Texas.
The winner of the match moves on to face No. 2 seeded Concordia Texas on Saturday at 9 a.m. (HEB Municipal Tennis Center).

TOURNAMENT NOTES:
- LeTourneau (9-7, 6-4 SCAC) had a strong year in its first as members of the SCAC. The YellowJackets ended the regular season with wins over McMurry and Schreiner.
- Though it will be LeTourneau's first appearance in the SCAC Tournament, the YellowJackets are in their 15th conference tournament. It will be the 12th consecutive conference tournament for LeTourneau, all under head coach Suzanne Merritt.
- LeTourneau has advanced to a conference tournament semifinal three times, including each of the last two years in the ASC.
- LeTourneau's 9-7 regular season record this season is the best regular season winning percentage under head coach Suzanne Merritt.
- LeTourneau and quarterfinal-round opponent St. Thomas met on April 10 in Colorado Springs. St. Thomas won that match, 6-1, with LeTourneau's point coming on a Chloe Tesser victory at the No. 3 flight.
- It has been the same six players in the lineup all year for LeTourneau. Kylie Weeks (No. 1), Maddie Nichol (No. 2), Tesser (No. 3), Anaiah Smith (No. 4), Emmy Phillips (No. 5), and Lindley Vickers (No. 6).
- Weeks and Tesser have held down the No. 1 flight in doubles. The duo is 10-5 with a 7-3 mark in conference play and was twice named the SCAC Doubles Team of the Week. They are tied for the second-most doubles wins in the SCAC this season.
- Weeks, Tesser, and Smith all sport 10-5 records in singles during dual matches. Tesser has 15 total wins on the year, while Weeks has 14, and Smith 13. Weeks is 10-5 at No.1, Tesser is also 10-5 at No. 3, and Smith is 10-4 at the No. 4 flight.
- Nichol and Smith are second on the team in doubles wins with eight (8-6). The tandem plays at the No. 2 flight.
