HOUSTON, Texas -- Four personal records were broken and more were established as the LeTourneau women's track and field team continued its indoor season on Saturday at the FasTrak Collegiate Challenge in Houston.
LeTourneau was competing against foes from all levels of NCAA and NAIA.
The YellowJackets had four strong runs in the 800-meter event.
Felice Mullinax established her collegiate indoor time of 2:29.42 to lead the way and finish 19th overall.
Madelyn DeLosSantos (2:35.35),
Hope Greenwald (2:35.36), and
Alayna Galloway (2:35.95) all finished in succession in the event.Â
DeLosSantos and Galloway set personal records in the distance.
In the 200-meter,
Kooper Bogenschutz and
Heather Shaw each improved from their season-opening performances. Bogenschutz came in at 28.19 to set her personal best, while Shaw finished in 28.83 for her new career time.
Shaw led the way for LeTourneau in the 60-meter dash at 8.77 and
Maddy Hirneise made her track debut at 8.98.
In distance events,
Peyton Chaney ran the mile in 6:18.33 and
Annabelle Nixon finished the 3,000-meter in 12:13.57.
Bogenschutz, DeLosSanots, Shaw, and Mullinax combined for a time of 4:27.56 in the 4x400 event.

LeTourneau teams will compete in the McNeese Indoor II on Friday in Lake Charles, La.
