SEGUIN, Texas -- LeTourneau women's track and field finished their conference outdoor season at the SCAC Championships in Seguin, coming in seventh of 12 teams.
Victoria Wilson had a program record on Sunday, breaking her own record in the 100m hurdles by soaring to a time of 15.60, good enough for sixth in the final heat.
Two personal bests and three other season-bests were set during the Sunday slate as well.
Alayna Galloway (5:12.37) and
Madelyn DeLosSantos (5:14.46) established new personal records in the 1500m final, as they further trimmed seconds off of their previous personal bests.
The team of
Kooper Bogenschutz,
Maddy Hirneise,
Heather Shaw, and Wilson ran a 51.86 in the 4x400 relay race, setting a new season-low time. Bogenschutz and Shaw also helped set a new season-best in the 4x400 relay, as they along with
Hope Greenwald and
Felice Mullinax ran a 4:17.47.
The final season-best was
Makenzie Covey's 35.42m (116' 2) toss in the discus throw, which helped her land seventh in the event.
Sunday's slate also included
Peyton Chaney's resilient 21:46.56 in the 5k,
Nat Ferdi's 20.99m (68' 10) in the discus throw, Greenwald's 5:29.20 in the 1500m, and
Annabelle Nixon's 5:57.93 in the 1500m.
