PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas --
David Dugan placed 10th at the SCAC Championships on Saturday, helping men's cross country place sixth in the 8,000-meter race at Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Farm and Ranch in Prairie View.
Dugan's time of 25:46.74 was the fastest time in a conference championship race since 2021, and also his second-best career time in the 8k. His 10th place finish earned him an All-SCAC nod as well, the fourth All-Conference award of his career.
Grayson Gaddis had the second-best time by a YellowJacket, running a 26:31.17, his second-fastest time of the season. Next in line was
Elijah Oudyn (26:57.40), who also ran his second-fastest 8k time of the season.
Zach Farris (27:39.24),
Simon Nakamura (27:43.77),
Ike Lehman (27:44.71), and
Xavier Davila (27:59.10) made up the next group, with Lehman setting a season-low time.Â
The successive collective of
Jack McCarty (28:15.70),
Alexander Hoksbergen (28:20.20), and
Aidan Hynes (28:39.81) followed, with Hynes setting a new season-best time.
The final three runners for LeTourneau were
Ryan Tally (28:48.55),
Gavin Smith (28:57.28), and
Austin Jett (29:57.63).Â
No. 25 Colorado College took down the team title, and Tiger runner Will Shuflit had the individual best time of 24:50.38.
