CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- LeTourneau women's golf placed six on the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team and the YellowJackets ranked 25th in Division III in team GPA, announced the organization on Wednesday.
Lexie Cannon,
Emerson Swanner,
Isabella Ferreira,
Hannah Newell,
Macy Rutland, and
Elena Jurado all earned All-American Scholar honors. It is the second straight year LeTourneau has place six on the list.
Under head coach
J. Paul Leslie III, LeTourneau ranked 25th in Division III with a GPA of 3.688 during the entire 2024-25 academic year. It is the third straight year that LeTourneau has earned All-Scholar Team honors from the WGCA and ranked inside the top 25 nationally in GPA.
Ferreira and Newell earned All-American Scholar honors for a third straight year, while Jurado and Cannon collected accolades for a second consecutive year. Swanner was a first-time recipient and Rutland earned honors for the first time at LeTourneau.
LeTourneau had 10 members of the team earn ASC Academic All-Conference and the team led the department with a 3.72 GPA during the spring semester. On the course, LeTourneau finished fourth in the ASC and produced a record four All-ASC selections.
To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year through the team's conference championship.
