SUWANEE, Ga. -- LeTourneau men's tennis sophomores Fernando Vazquez and Andrew Reiman were named the SCAC Doubles Team of the Week, for the period ending on Feb. 22, announced the conference on Monday.

The tandem becomes the first to garner SCAC weekly honors this season. It is the first career weekly award for both Vazquez and Reiman.

Vazquez and Reiman dominated at the top flight in doubles with a 6-1 victory over Noah Baiani and Gabriel Keeney-McCollough of Howard Payne in LeTourneau's season-opening victory on Saturday. 

The duo was also part of LeTourneau's victories in singles play. Reiman, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, won the match-clincher at the No. 2 spot with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Riley Harker. Vazquez, a sophomore from Naucalpan de Juarez, Mexico, collected a straight-set victory over Eli Hall at No. 3.

LeTourneau (1-0) won its season-opening match for the sixth time in the last seven years.

LeTourneau returns to action with the SCAC opener on Friday at Austin College (5:30 p.m.).
