FORT WORTH, Texas -- LeTourneau men's track and field competed at the TCU Alumni Invite this weekend.
One of the premier events on the program's schedule, the TCU Alumni Invite featured numerous teams at the Division I and II levels.
In the field events,
Mason Thompson shone, competing in the discus and hammer throws. Thompson boasted a personal best in the discus, hitting a 31.66 meter (103' 10") mark, and followed with a 15th-place hammer throw with a mark of 40.09 meters (131' 6").Â
Erik Lindgren also had a day, finishing eighth in the javelin, throwing 53.39 meters (175' 2"). Lindgren followed with a personal best in the discus with a mark of 36.03 meters (118' 2").
Aaron Willeford also posted a 52.49-meter (172' 2") mark in the javelin, finishing 10th.
In the shot put,
Calvin Mason finished seventh, tossing a 15.73 meter (51' 7.25"), while
Jean-Michel Ndiaye posted a season-best 1.80 meter (5' 10.75") height in the high jump.
On the track, a number of YellowJackets posted personal records.
In the 1500-meter,
Konrad Williamson (4:31.12) and
Jack McCarty (4:32.00) hit personal records, while
Grayson Gaddis posted a season-best time of 4:15.53, finishing 20th.
Xavier Davila once again set a personal best in the 800-meter, running a 1:58.55, while in the 400-meter hurdle event,
Justin Lindberg had a personal record of 1:01.15.
Elijah Oudyn hit a personal-best time of 15:27.00 in the 5000-meter, finishing seventh.
Chris Morelli also worked a 11th-place finish in the 400-meter hurdle with a time of 59.83.

LeTourneau will compete in the NSU Invitational, hosted by Northwestern State, next Saturday, March 28.
