No. 19 Colorado College Bests Women's Tennis

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- LeTourneau women's tennis rounded out its SCAC conference weekend, falling 7-0 to No. 19 Colorado College on Sunday at the Lifetime Fitness.

The nationally ranked Tigers proved too much for LeTourneau (7-7, 4-4 SCAC), snagging all seven points off the match.

In doubles play, the Tigers (15-3, 8-0 SCAC) handled matters quickly.

Avery Hickman and Lindsay Popeo downed Lindley Vickers and Emmy Phillips 6-0 at the No. 3 line, before clinching the doubles point with Aspen Young and Lucia Moravek's 6-0 No. 1 flight victory over Kylie Weeks and Chloe Tesser.

Tesser fell to Kala Komanduri 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 3 flight to begin singles play, followed by Young defeating Weeks 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.

The match-clinching point came at the No. 2 singles flight, where Maddie Nichol fell in straight sets (6-1, 6-1) to Colorado's Ally Lowe.
