LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The 2025-26 LeTourneau volleyball team was recognized as an AVCA Team Academic Award recipient, announced the organization on Thursday.
It is the eighth time since 2016 that LeTourneau has earned the honor, and the fourth straight year.
Under head coach Alison Williams, the YellowJackets garnered the award and posted 3.58 team GPA in the fall with a 3.62 mark during the spring semester. All 16 members of the program earned SCAC Academic Honor Roll, and four players (Aubree McCann, Maddy Hirneise, Nora Lockhart, Emma Smith) earned CSC Academic All-District accolades.
The Team Academic Award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale.
LeTourneau opens the 2026 on Sept. 4-5 in Belton, Texas.
