Box Score CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – LeTourneau men's soccer dropped a hard-fought, 2-1, double-overtime decision Saturday afternoon on the road against Ozarks.
LeTourneau got on the board first in the 65th minute when Danny Canaviri took a cross into the box from Carlos Guevara and headed it into the net to give the YellowJackets a 1-0 advantage.
LETU held the lead into the final minute, when Ozarks knotted the game on a goal by Shaun Keane (assisted by Marcus Aldaba) with 49 seconds to play.
The game went into overtime, and remained tied through the first OT and into the 102nd minute when Aldaba took a pass from Dagin Douglas and scored to give Ozarks the victory.
Anthony Martinez logged 101:10 in net, making six saves while allowing two goals. Hunter Hembrough had three shots on goal for LeTourneau, while Edwin Raudales, Mario Lopez, and canaviri each had one for the YellowJackets.
LeTourneau returns home Friday, Oct. 12 for a game against Louisiana College, set for 6 p.m. CT at LETU Soccer Field.
