The LeTourneau University men's tennis team lost to host Texas Lutheran, 5-4 on Monday in Seguin.
The YellowJackets nearly rallied for the come-from-behind win after losing all three doubles matches to start the day. All three of the doubles matches were tightly contested including No. 1 doubles that was decided in a tiebreaker.
When the match shifted over to the singles side, LeTourneau picked up wins at No. 1, 2, 3 and 5 singles. At No. 1 singles, senior
Kendall Beggs returned to his winning ways with a 6-2, 6-3 win. Senior
Sindre Bondal Johnsgaard extended his winning streak to three and winner of five of his last six with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.

Morgan Weaver picked up his second-consecutive win with a 6-3, 6-4 victory. Freshman
Robbie Bundy and his opponent Greg Nelson from TLU engaged in a tightly contested match at No. 5 singles. Bundry bounced back from a first set loss, 6-3 to win the next two sets, 6-3 and in a super-set tiebreaker, 12-10.

The Bulldogs picked up the victory in the match with wins at No. 4 and No. 6 singles to secure the victory over LETU.
