Aaron Hastings of the LETU men's soccer team, a sophomore from Cypress, Texas, was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. It is the second-straight week that a LETU men's soccer player has earned weekly recognition from the ASC.

He scored a goal in each half to lead the YellowJackets' to a 2-2 tie with Southwestern Assemblies of God University (Sept. 12). Hastings also had a team-high nine shots against the SAGU Lions.
 
The LETU men's soccer team will next host Howard Payne on Friday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. and UT Dallas on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. in a pair of non-conference games. The game on Saturday against UT Dallas is Greater Longview Soccer Association Day, earlier in the day, the LETU women will host Sul Ross State at 2 p.m.
