LONGVIEW, Texas – Fans of LETU men's basketball team gets a week full of home contests, with four in seven days, kicking off against Concordia Sunday and UMHB Monday.
After playing nine of their last 10 games on the road, the YellowJackets hosts four to the final six opponents in front of the home crowd.
LETU (15-3, 10-3) looks to get back in the wins column after dropping its last contest 88-73, at Belhaven Jan. 29.
Andrew Eberhardt and Deonte Jackson currently rank second and third in points-per-game in the American Southwest Conference with 20.8 ppg and 19.6 ppg, respectively.
Warren Richardson ranks 15th in the league at 15.2 ppg, sixth in rebounding and shooting percentage, averaging 7.4 rpg and knocking down 59.4% of field-goal attempts.
GAME 19 – Concordia (8-8, 5-7)

Concordia defeated LETU 89-87, in overtime Dec. 19, 2020, knotting the all-time series at 12 wins each. The YellowJackets own a 9-3 mark in Solheim Arena against the Tornados, including four in succession.
Donovan Stafford's layup with three ticks left on the clock in the extra period secured the victory for Concordia. In a seesaw affair that featured 11 ties and the lead swapping sides 13 times, the Tornados outrebounded LETU 48-42 and held a 15-point advantage in second-chance points.
The YellowJackets had five players finish with at least 10 points, with Eberhardt leading the way with 16. Jackson tallied 15, while Richardson added 13. Christian Adams chipped in with 12 and Kyle Matthews recorded a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Antoine Henderson paced Concordia with 20 points and 15 boards. Caleb Elsey totaled 11 points, while Stafford and DJ Pigford posted 10 each.
GAME 20 – vs. UMHB (15-2, 10-2)

The YellowJackets are 8-19 all-time against the Cru, including a 91-86, overtime loss in Belton, Texas, Dec. 18, 2021. UMHB snapped a seven-game losing streak against LETU, with the victory. After starting the season 8-0, the YellowJackets loss was the first in the James Wallace era, who is 15-3 in his first year after seven years as an assistant coach on Dan Miller's staff.
In the last meeting, Jackson led four YellowJackets in double-digit scoring, netting 23 on 8 of 17 from the field. Richardson recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Pride was a rebound shy of a double-double, notching 15 points and nine boards, while Eberhardt chipped in with 10 points.
The Cru capitalized at the free-throw line, hitting 20 of 26 (76.9%), while LETU converted a season low 55% (11 of 20).
Josiah Johnson, who leads the league in scoring at 25.6 ppg, paced all scorers with 25 points on 9 of 27 from the floor in the first meeting. Luke Feely registered 23 points, followed by 19 from Ty Prince.
