2023 Schedule Finalized for Men's Soccer

LONGVIEW, Texas -- With the season just two months away, the LeTourneau men's soccer team released its 2023 schedule. The slate features 17 regular season matches, nine of which are set for Longview, as the team looks to build off an ASC Tournament runner-up finish in 2022.

Under second-year head coach Brady Van Holland, the YellowJackets begin the season at home on Sept. 1 against University of Dallas. That match is the first of nine at the Joyce Family Athletic Village during the season.

After a trip to Sherman to take on Austin College on Sept. 4, the YellowJackets return home to face Belhaven (Sept. 7) and Millsaps (Sept. 9). LeTourneau will also face Schreiner at home (Sept. 22) to conclude non-conference play.

LeTourneau heads to Birmingham, Ala., on Sept. 15-16 to face Birmingham-Southern (Sept. 15) before taking on Berry (Sept. 16). The quick road trip concludes with an afternoon match at Dallas Christian on Sept. 22.

ASC play opens with the YellowJackets facing the top two teams from last season. LeTourneau travels to face Concordia Texas (Sept. 28) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (Sept. 30) to open the nine-match league schedule.

All five home conference matches come in succession from Oct. 5-21. Hardin-Simmons (Oct. 5) and McMurry (Oct. 7) come to Longview the first weekend before rival East Texas Baptist arrives on Oct. 14. The home stretch ends with contests against Ozarks (Oct. 19) and UT Dallas (Oct. 21).

Road matches at Howard Payne (Oct. 26) and Sul Ross State (Oct. 28) round out the regular season.

The ASC Tournament is set to begin on Oct. 31.
