LONGVIEW, Texas --
Walker Reeves placed third overall and the LeTourneau men's cross country team narrowly missed another team title before settling for second at the seventh annual Nicole Leman Invitational on Friday evening at the Joyce Family Athletic Village.
LeTourneau totaled 35 points, just three shy of team champion Texas A&M-Texarkana. The YellowJackets put four runners in the top 10 and had seven in the top-15 in the race.
Reeves came in third overall with a three-mile time of 15:42.06. The junior had five top-five finishes last season and begins 2024 with another one.
Elijah Oudyn came in fifth with his personal-best time in the three-mile at 15:51.57, while
Grayson Gaddis was sixth at 16:16.79.
Daniel Risberg rounded out the YellowJackets in the top 10 with his 10th-place finish at 17:09.64.
Hudson McGuire was 11th at 17:17.89 with
Ryan Tally, making his collegiate debut, in 14th at 17:34.01.
Alexander Hoksbergen placed 15th at 17:41.66 in his debut.
Texas A&M-Texarkana's Isaac Cupp finished in 15:21.24 to earn top individual honors. Dallas' Alexander Bozhilov was second at 15:30.31.
