COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Multiple runners set personal bests as LeTourneau men's cross country landed 30th in the 8,000-meter event flush with high-level Division I programs.
Elijah Oudyn had the best time for the YellowJackets, running a 26:06.9 to set a new best time in the 8k.
Grayson Gaddis was not far behind him, setting a personal best with his 26:09.0.
David Dugan completed the top three for LeTourneau, running a 26:20.2.
Simon Nakamura added a personal best in the 8k with his 26:43.3, and fellow freshman
Xavier Davila (27:22.3) and sophomore
Ryan Tally (27:23.7) were next in line, both hitting personal best marks as well.
Zach Farris (27:43.6) and
Alexander Hoksbergen (27:45.6) were two seconds apart from one another in the next group, with Farris establishing a new benchmark in the 8k and Hoksbergen recording a personal best time.
Austin Jett likewise recorded a personal best with his 27:53.5, and the subsequent group of
Jack McCarty (28:10.0),
Gavin Smith (28:19.2), and
Ike Lehman (28:20.2) followed, with McCarty and Smith also finishing in personal best time.
John Wesley Ely (28:54.0),
Konrad Williamson (29:20.9),
Aidan Hynes (29:49.4), and
Isaac Stucker (30:14.2) rounded out the LeTourneau runners, with Williamson and Stucker adding personal bests.
Texas A&M took down the team title, while Titus Kimaru of Texas Tech won the individual title with his time of 22:36.1.

LeTourneau will prepare for their inaugural appearance in the SCAC Championships on November 1.
