LAKE CHARLES, La. -- Multiple top-10 finishes along with personal and program records were plentiful across the board for LeTourneau men's track and field at the McNeese Indoor II and Multi meet, which concluded on Friday.
Calvin Mason broke his own program records once again in the shot put and weight throw, firing a mark of 15.60 meters (51'2.25) in the shot put and 15.12 meters (49'7.25) in the weight throw.
There were also multiple LeTourneau athletes who recorded top 10 finishes.
Seth Barker finished inside the top 10 in the 55-meter prelims, placing ninth with a time of 7.02.
On top of that,
Ben Sweatt landed seventh in the triple jump with a personal-record mark (12.66 meters - 41'6.5) and
James Kearsing ended up 10th in the long jump, hitting a season-best mark of 6.13 meters (20'1.5).
Sweatt also landed just outside the top 10 in the 55-meter prelims, finishing 11th with a time of 7.10.
Bryson Culver set two personal records. In the triple jump, he went 12.09 meters (39'8), to place ninth in that event and was 15th in the long jump with a new best of 5.59 meters (18'4.25).
Four finished inside the top 20 in the 200-meter with
Sam Wyatt (12th - 24.20),
Justin Lindberg (13th - 24.23), Kearsing (18th - 25.06), and
Caleb Murillo (19th - 25.13). Two were just outside the top 20, as
Michael Delaney landed 20th at 25.28, and
Colton Fears was 21st at 25.69. Lindberg and Murillo set personal records.
The 400-meter also saw two YellowJackets place in the top 15, as Wyatt (10th - 54.80) and Murillo (14th - 56.20) continued to run well. Murillo established a personal-best in the distance.

The YellowJackets will head back to Houston next Saturday to compete in the FasTrak Athletix Collegiate Indoor Last Chance Invitational.
