Head track and field coach
Dillon May had this to say about the event: "You couldn't have drawn up a better start to the outdoor season for our men. They came ready to compete today, and it showed. The guys had a great attitude on the track and did an awesome job of supporting their teammates throughout the day. They brought the vibes - simple as that. They're an easy bunch of student-athletes to coach and root for, and it's especially fun when you get a day like today and you feel like it's one celebration after the next. They did a great job of being image bearers today, and I'm excited to see how they do at our next meet after a couple of quality weeks of training."
Among other competitions,
Jean-Michel Ndiaye ran well in the 100m (11.33) and 400m (51.27), placing in the top 20 in both events. He also placed second in the high jump, hitting 1.85m (6'0.75) on his leap.
