ABILENE, Texas -- LeTourneau women's track and field begins to wrap up the regular season, competing at the War Hawk Classic on Saturday.
Shortened by the weather, the War Hawk Classic was hosted by McMurry and gave teams an insightful preview of the upcoming SCAC Championships (April 24-26), with a majority of the conference attending.
Madison Williams smashed her previous personal-best time in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing ninth among 24 competitors with a time of 16.04.
In the 1500-meter,
Alayna Galloway finished eighth with a 5:09.14, while
Felice Mullinax placed 13th with her 5:22.35 time.
Galloway and Mullinax sat third and fourth, respectively, amongst the 15 SCAC competitors in the event.
Williams,
Michaela Antenucci,
Selah Prickett, and
Hannah Dunster represented the YellowJackets in the 4x100-meter relay, finishing with a time of 51.57.
UP NEXT
LeTourneau will compete at the Dan Veach Invitational this Saturday, April 18, hosted by Southern Arkansas.
