Dunster's Program Record Highlights Day Two of SCAC Championships

ABILENE, Texas -- LeTourneau women's track and field are in fifth place following day two of the SCAC Championships, hosted by McMurry.

LeTourneau has totaled 19 team points through eight events, nearly surpassing its three-day total of 25 last year.

McMurry holds a strong lead in first place with 96 points, followed by Texas Lutheran with 70.

Saturday was highlighted by Hannah Dunster's program record triple jump, finishing second in the event with a mark of 10.95 meters (35' 11.25") and garnering her first career All-SCAC honors.

After tallying eight points in the triple jump, Dunster added two more with her seventh-place finish in the high jump, leaping 1.42 meters (4' 7.75").

Leinaya Gay also added a point for LeTourneau with her eighth-place finish in the triple jump, hitting a mark of 9.61 meters (31' 6.5").

Audrey DeMaris tacked on another team point with her 29.6-meter (97' 1") mark in the hammer throw, finishing eighth.

LeTourneau's points round out with Peyton Chaney's 10,000-meter time of 46:44.88, good enough for sixth and three team points.

There were many preliminary races on Saturday, before Sunday's finals, in which LeTourneau found 10 personal-best times. Top eight finishers in the prelims advanced to Sunday's finals.

Madi Williams scorched a new personal best in the 100-meter hurdles with a 15.57, advancing with a fourth-place finish.

Alayna Galloway moves on to the 800-meter finals with her time of 2:27.12, eighth in the prelims.

Madelyn DeLosSantos rounds out the finals qualifiers with her personal-best 400-meter hurdles time of 1:11.96, finishing seventh.

Michaela Antenucci had personal record times in the 100-meter (13.18) and 200-meter (27.19) dashes, and Dunster rounded out her day with a career-fastest 26.22 in the 200-meter.
