PITTSBURG, Kan. -- Three program records were set as LeTourneau women's track and field competed at the 11th annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic, hosted by Pitt State over the weekend.
Hannah Dunster notched a new program record in the triple jump, placing 22nd in the event with a mark of 10.57 meters (34' 8.25").
Dunster also competed in the distance medley relay alongside
Madelyn DeLosSantos,
Felice Mullinax, and
Alayna Galloway, who produced a program best time of 13:09.60.
DeLosSantos, Dunster,
Anna Layng, and
Victoria Wilson ran the 4x400-meter relay, finishing 33rd with a time of 4:14.28.
Wilson took down her own 60-meter hurdles program record, running a time of 9.34 and placing 33rd in the event, while also hitting a 1.43-meter (4' 8.25") mark in the high jump.
"The women had an amazing weekend at Pitt State," said LeTourneau director of track and field
Dillon May. "This meet is full of some of the best competition we'll see all season, and the women were ready for it."
Selah Prickett and
Michaela Antenucci both put up personal best times in the 60-meter dash. Prickett ran an 8.38, while Antenucci ran an 8.62.
Mullinax recorded a season-best time of 2:30.85 in the 800-meter as well.
UP NEXT
LeTourneau will send athletes to the LSU Twilight meet on Friday, Feb. 20.
