NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Five LeTourneau women's track and field athletes collect USTFCCCA Indoor All-West Region honors, announced the organization this week.
Victoria Wilson,
Madelyn DeLosSantos,
Hannah Dunster,
Felice Mullinax, and
Alayna Galloway were all recognized for their performances in the indoor season. Wilson received honors in the pentathlon and 60-meter hurdles, while DeLosSantos, Dunster, Mullinax, and Galloway were members of the All-Region distance medley relay team.Â
The top-eight individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-eight ranked relay team.
Wilson, a senior from McKinney, Texas, collected All-Region honors in the pentathlon and 60-meter hurdles, setting program records in both events along the way. Competing in the South Region Qualifier & Multi on March 6, Wilson collected 3,282 points in the pentathlon, placing her top-30 nationally and second in the West Region. During that multi, Wilson ran a 9.17 60-meter hurdle, a program-record time and placed her eighth in the region. This is Wilson's third time collecting All-Region honors in the pentathlon, and first in the hurdles.
DeLosSantos, Dunster, Mullinax, and Galloway ran a 13:09.60 in the distance medley relay at the Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic on Feb. 13, a program record time. The squad placed seventh in the West Region in the event. All four collect their first All-Region honors.
LeTourneau continues the outdoor season on Saturday (March 14) at the Cowboy Relays in Lake Charles, La.
